Glamor and rocks :)

This is my beautiful friend L. She came to my Toronto based photography studio for a Beauty and Glamor Portrait Photo Session and of course I got tons of beautiful pictures.

But what we actually do together is rock climbing, mostly indoor, due to the fact that here in Toronto three weeks ago was still winter …

This is my first outdoor rock climbing trip at Rattlesnake Point, together with our climbing crew.

Few days ago I spend a wonderful morning in exchange photo shooting. We are happy mothers, our three kids were playing in the other room for 2-3 long hours, while we were enjoying our own time in front of and behind the camera.

This photo session was about her and about me, we also need beautiful images of ourselves … to show one day to our grown kids how beautiful and happy their mothers were at that time.

Some time ago I promised myself that I will exist in my family photographs, because there is no reason to postponed ….

Hopefully soon I will share “beautiful me” photo session here 🙂

My picture on Creativelive …

I just have to share this with the whole world! My picture was chosen and had live critique on creativeLIVE Autumn Photo Critique at http://www.creativelive.com

I have started getting a lot of questions how I did it … so here is the answer:

I just combine three different images and used two of them as textures. The textures are form my trip to >>> Johnston’s Cranberry Mars

This is my first attempt for Fine Art Portrait. Finally I found the model and the outfit I was looking for 🙂 There are more pictures with my beautiful model on my photo stream on Flickr

The dress is handmade by me, it is not a real dress, but look great on pictures 🙂 And the cost is … $1.50, for the fabric from ValueVillage and my precious time to make it, around 30 minutes to cut the fabric.

I am open for more questions, more critique and discussions …
